You know what? I don’t want to be serious this week. I want to write about something frivolous and fun. Specifically, I want to talk about the Bling Plugs Training kit from Blush Novelties. Besides, fun and function are not mutually exclusive.
Let’s start with the fun part, the obvious part. They have jeweled and heart-shaped bases. They are simultaneously cute and shiny. That is a deciding factor alone for many people. It was for me, anyway, and I know for a fact that I am not alone. Another obvious feature is the three size kit. Ownership gives the option to train up in size, pick a mood for any individual encounter, even part them out as gifts to friends. True, the jewel is plastic, but that helps keep the price friendly and it is virtually immune to cracking or breaking. No, the Blings are not an heirloom piece, but they are build for active and joyful play.
Now for function. Blush silicone, you know I love it, and you know why. It is dense, velvety, and devoid of seams. The Bling plugs make full use of this material with their long-wasted design. The bulb of the plug is rock solid, but the join between plug and flair bends and flexes like a dancer. The base is a little on the small side for all-day 
wear, but is ideal for active use. Like to wear a plug during other play? Blings have your back*. Like any other silicone toy, clean up is simple. Soap or a spray of toy cleaner, water, and a complete rinse is enough to banish odors and bacteria both, ideal for an anal toy.
