We-Vibe, Melt is what happens when We-Vibe and Womanizer have a baby. Really, that’s pretty much exactly what happened. We-Vibe and Womanizer maintain separate lines, but they have joined forces under one parent company. Lucky for us, this status change includes sharing design elements. Melt has the Pleasure Air tech of Womanizer, with the sleek easy-operate styling of We-Vibe. Just as you would expect from either company, Melt is rechargeable, submersible, and comes with the shield of a two year manufacturer’s warranty.
In function, Melt is very much a member of the Womanizer family. It uses pressure pulse, rather than vibration, as the operative function. It even has a 12 step intensity span, just like Premium. In text, it doesn’t seem like much, but it is huge. Womanizer’s touchless tech is a sensation like no other. It is nearly silent in use and has an intensity to captivate even jaded veterans like me.
What, then, did We-Vibe bring to the table? The overall shape is radically different, long and slim (in theory, to better fit between partners). The Silicone shell completely, and seamlessly covers, the toy, including the built-in clitoral cup. Most distinctive We-Vibe trait, most would say, is the fact that Melt is compatible with the We-Vibe app. If you want help from a distance, or want to built your own patterns, this is going to be the Deal-Maker. There is, however, one more valuable attribute. Melt is for those that want a genuine Pleasure Air sensation without the unfortunate shadow of the word womanizer. This was not an accident, I was told by a company rep, it was a deliberate gesture of goodwill.
